Several of my Theory II students have been with me for 3 semesters, starting in my Fundamentals class. I moderate a Facebook Private Group page for them to continue our discussions outside of class which has been quite successful. For Music Appreciation, a core class, I developed a scaffolded writing project which leads to a marked improvement in writing skills in one semester.

Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO.  Taught 8 weeks of Music History II for a professor on family leave. Additionally, I was a substitute instructor for Music Theory I and Aural Skills. Guest Lecturer for Music History I with a Lute Presentation (2015). Guest Lecturer on Spanish Music with a Lute Presentation (Spring (2016).

INSTRUCTOR, Classical Guitar, 1983-present. Skills in flamenco and on lute. Specialize in helping students transition from tablature to notation, and exposing them to a wide range of repertoire, styles and techniques.

PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE, Classical Guitar, 1983-present. Skills in flamenco and on lute. Lute band, guitar duos, trios, and quartets, accompaniment for a small choir, continuo for Baroque concert, accompaniment for early music singers, and Collegium musicum.

FOCAL DYSTONIA RETRAINING, Instructor, 2015 to present. Through my own successful focal dystonia retraining I developed a video blog of lessons to help others, and have given additional instruction in private lessons and via Skype.
